A Few Facts About Me
I’m a massive lover of music and have been extremely lucky to attend some amazing gigs over the years. A few highlights include; backstage at The Rolling Stones, on stage with Prince and playing harmonica with Ed Sheeran!
After studying Photography in The Arts at University I found my way into the professional world of videography and firmly left photography behind. In the last few years though I have found a new love for film photography and you’ll often find me in cities around the world firing off a few rolls of film.
I’ve been around classic cars my whole life due to my Dad’s career (restorer) and as such this has fuelled a love of cars for me. If you enjoy cleaning cars you may have already seen some of my work, as I regularly shoot for the automotive detailing brand Auto Finesse.
More About Me
Hey, I’m Olly, owner of OW Productions and proud dog dad of two beautiful black Labradors, Tallulah and Dali. After gaining a degree in Art Photography I stumbled across video production and now many years later here I am! I’m based in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside and when I’m not filming a fun wedding or in the editing room, you can find me up a climbing wall or out on a long walk with my previously mentioned doggies (if you follow me on Instagram, you have no doubt already seen these two, most probably splashing about in a puddle or causing some mischief!)
A Bit Different From The Norm…
You may have noticed, I approach wedding films with a slightly different style to the more traditional form. I believe a wedding is a day of fun, laughter, energy and happiness, and one hell of a party, and that’s exactly what I try to show in my films. Think – party, excitement, romance, and a bit of comedy thrown in for good measure and that’s what you can expect from an OWP wedding film! And not to worry if your nan (/insert alternative family member) prefers the more traditional film, because my full length feature is presented in a chronological form so you can relive your day the way it unfolded. On your wedding day you can expect me to blend in and be as inconspicuous as possible. I try to capture the natural moments as they unfold and leave yourselves and your guests to enjoy the day. In 2022 I was extremely honoured to be presented with the Highly Commended award for wedding videography in the East of England, from the prestigious TWIA (The Wedding Industry Awards) as voted for by my very happy previous couples. It was such a lovely surprise and so amazing to be recognised for my work, and to read so many lovely comments from my lovely clients. Always striving to stand out from the crowd, and provide my couples with upbeat, high energy, fast paced and modern wedding films, its an honour to be noticed as one of the best around.

My Signature Style
High Energy
I love showing off weddings for the true, fast paced, excitement filled, love fests they are. My trailers show it all, delivered in a way only an OWP video can, but if your nan doesn’t quite like my style not to worry, you can also include a full length feature, showing everything in a slower and chronological order. Unique
Every wedding is unique and as such, so should every film be. Bursting with life and energy, capturing the dynamic atmosphere of your special day, storytelling is my specialty and no two stories are ever the same. With my creative wedding videography style, you can be assured your wedding film will always stand out from the rest.
Inconspicuous
Now it might seem a bit strange, but I almost don’t want you to remember I was even there. Natural shots make the best shots, so I try to be as inconspicuous as possible throughout the day. You won’t catch me asking you to endlessly and awkwardly walk to and from the camera… I want you to enjoy your day as naturally as possible, its probably the biggest day of your life after all!
